THE TRUE MYTHA written work of the quality of ‘s All and Everything, First Series: Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson can justly be classified as esoteric. While thatgives the book an intriguing cachet, it also implies that very few people will understand it. Nearly everyone needs guidance to comprehend much of Pogson’s talks on many of the potentially liberating messages woven so deceptively into stories that have been found to puzzle, irritate and occasionally ourage unprepared Pogson had the knack of penetrating the layers of meaning in Beelzebub’s observations about Man and his place and role in the Universe. More significant, she showed how to use this knowledge in one’s everyday life to nourish the inner True Myth records in detail her instructions to groups of people studying Gurdjieff’s ideas. A notable feature is her use of “the law of analogy” to translate cosmic processes into methods of human psychological and spiritual transformation.
